Technical Salesperson

We are looking for a Technical Salesperson to join Crofts Gears in Benoni. You will be the first technical point of contact for customers across mining, heavy-industry, sugar, materials handling, and pulp and paper industries, helping them choose gears and couplings that match their requirements and turning their enquiries into orders.

• Respond to customer enquiries and prepare accurate quotations
• Advise customers on gears and couplings that match their requirements
• Follow up on quotes, turn enquiries into orders and track the sales pipeline
• Build and maintain relationships with industrial customers
• Work with engineering and the workshop on specifications and lead times

• Technical qualification or equivalent mechanical experience
• Experience in technical or industrial sales, ideally power transmission or similar
• Strong communication and follow-up skills
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to visit customers (travel is a requirement)
