Millwright (Red Seal)

We are looking for a skilled, hands-on Red Seal Millwright to join our manufacturing team in Benoni. You should have competence in both mechanical and electrical maintenance, covering fault-finding, repairs, installation and preventative maintenance of industrial machinery and equipment.

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults on industrial machinery
• Troubleshoot control circuits, sensors, contactors, relays and motor starters
• Carry out mechanical fitting, assembly, machine alignment and equipment overhauls
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimise breakdowns and production downtime
• Assist with installations, commissioning and continuous improvement, following all factory health and safety requirements

• Recognised Millwright trade qualification with Red Seal (trade test certificate)
• Proven mechanical and electrical maintenance and fault-finding experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of electric motors, control systems, gearboxes, bearings, couplings and rotating machinery
• Strong safety awareness, and able to work independently and as part of a team
